  2. Reporting in, K.

Today a cat individual other than this watcher was found near the subjects.

That individual dropped its guard and surrendered its body to the subjects, behaving nothing like a watcher.

We must root out the turncoats among us.

  4. Reporting in, K.

Around noon today, PER B spoke to Earthlings who were dozing off. PER B

Rather than making an issue of the drowsiness, he said a little time spacing out is needed too.

The subject himself is confirmed to take a rather generous attitude toward this state.

  5. Reporting in, K.

Today Kyryu recommended a dinner menu to the Earthlings. KYRYU

both confirmed to be very suitable foods for hot weather.

Kyryu is clearly a guy who knows how to eat. KYRYU

  6. Reporting in, K.

Today is Monday morning,

which appears to be the window when Earthlings' energy is at its lowest.

  8. Reporting in, K.

Today I observed Kyryu and Luan.

Kyryu started humming a song first, and Luan naturally sang along.

The two looked at each other, then laughed or lightly kept the beat.

This watcher got so lost in their singing that I nearly exposed my identity.

I will have to be more careful from now on, K.

  9. Reporting in, K.

Today this watcher tailed PER B from behind.

He had only turned a corner, yet standing there was not SD PER B but LD PER B.

The subjects' safe mode has been released.

This watcher therefore retreated immediately.

  10. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects performed running in a huge Earth zone called Seoul.

Eon in particular could not control his speed and vanished from sight.

In the end, only PER B remained.

  11. Reporting in, K.

Today Luan recorded a trip to the sea with his hyungs as a drawing. LUAN

In the drawing, Luan seems to have classified the time with his hyungs as a happy event.

But at the end of the record there were also signs that he wants to go to the sea alone, without them.

It was nice going with his hyungs, yet he wants to go without them too. Luan's heart on this has not yet been decoded.

  12. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects ate an Earth food with red seasoning.

and the subjects immediately looked for water and lost control of their faces.

Yet the abnormal behaviour of taking another bite right after complaining of pain kept repeating.

Earth's tteokbokki is classified as a dangerous food possessing both pain and addictiveness.

  13. Reporting in, K.

Water fell from Earth's sky.

The subjects found it inconvenient to move at first, but soon went quiet, gazing out of the window for a long time.

Perhaps because of the sound of rain, the dim light and the wet streets, they spoke and moved less.

Earth's rain seems to be not merely a weather phenomenon but a device that makes feelings go soft.

  14. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects started a Set Log, something Earthlings apparently enjoy.

They appear to have filmed their own daily lives.

Even trivial scenes were recorded: eating, moving about, resting, fooling around.

Earthlings seem to like sharing not only special events but ordinary days too.

  15. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects fixed their gaze on a small square screen for a long time.

Inside the device, wondrous things poured out endlessly: text, video, music, photos.

Heads down, moving only their fingers, they held the same posture for ages.

Earth's square objects seem to have the power to hold the subjects captive.

Different only in size, it has a power similar to a bed.

  16. Reporting in, K.

The subjects visited a baseball stadium.

Repeatedly, Earthlings shouted and stood up in unison following the movement of a single ball.

Also witnessed the astonishing sight of Luan starting to talk after being hit by the ball.

It appears that being hit by a baseball enables speech.

  17. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects took part in Earth's number-choosing ritual.

You mark numbers on a small piece of paper and then wait for the result.

The odds of winning looked low, but the subjects chose their numbers very seriously.

Earthlings seem able to start a happy daydream from a single sheet of paper.

Just in case, I bought one too, K.

  18. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects were exposed to Earth's extreme heat.

They had adapted to various Earth environments so far, but in high temperatures their reaction speed dropped markedly.

They moved immediately whenever they found shade, and searched for cold drinks first.

Their drooping, slowing reactions closely resemble zombies.

  19. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects visited an old Earth house.

They tried to adopt a dignified bearing to match the place, but when the set time came they were escorted out by the Earth caretaker.

Earthlings seem to have a rule that no matter how big the house, you must leave when time is up.

  20. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects experienced an Earth-style physical training called Pilates.

The equipment looked like instruments of torture, but Earthlings call it health care.

Witnessed the cruel sight of human legs being split and waists being stretched.

It is frightening, K... 무섭습니다 K…

  21. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects stepped onto an exercise device called the Stairway to Heaven.

After a while they showed sweat and confusion at the same time.

Ah! Unlike the name, they did not travel to heaven.

No need to worry, K. 걱정하지 않으셔도 됩니다, K.

  22. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects experienced Earth's laundry process.

It was a decontamination procedure, but they appear to have been quite shocked by the water, soap and spin cycle.

Afterwards a subject quietly stared for a while at the pieces of cloth hanging on the drying rack.

On Earth, a grandmother's hands are faster and scarier than anything.

  23. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects entered an Earth collective-education zone called a school.

The Earthlings there, on spotting the subjects, stroked their heads and chins and kept saying how cute they were.

Despite the many attempts at contact, the subjects did not refuse, as if under a spell.

The subjects are assessed to enjoy receiving attention and affection.

  24. Reporting in, K.

The subjects put on Earth headphones to block out noise.

But although the subjects' ears are on top of their heads, the device is built to wrap around the sides of the face.

They were briefly confused, then confirmed that all Earthlings wear them the same way and copied them.

Earth's noise-blocking devices seem to prioritise mood over accuracy.

  25. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects attempted to communicate with the creatures inside a transparent tank.

At first they seem to have judged that they had reached a small sea.

But the place was not the sea; it was the fish tank in front of an Earth restaurant.

  26. Reporting in, K.

The subjects were issued Earth's triangular food.

But the way to remove the wrapper was so complicated that considerable analysis time was spent before eating.

One subject seems to have mistaken it for a puzzle rather than food.

Unlike its name, Earth's convenience food has an entry barrier.

  27. Reporting in, K.

Tonight the subjects observed an Earth city after dark.

Even with the sun gone the city did not stop; it switched on even more lights.

The subjects stared at the neon signs for a while, wondering when Earthlings ever sleep.

The Americano consumed earlier may be the energy source for their nocturnal activity.

  28. Reporting in, K.

Earth has danger zones where water shoots up even from the ground.

The subjects moved several times to avoid it, but were attacked by the water in the end.

This appears to be a situation that calls for alertness and timing rather than combat power.

  29. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects encountered a rotating transparent entry device.

They got in, but failed to get out at the right moment and kept going round unnecessarily.

Some subjects showed confusion about direction.

Earth's doors are not done once they open; sometimes they demand timing too.

  30. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects gave an interview to an Earth outlet called Depenyu.

Kyryu used a rather distinctive way of speaking,

presumably influenced by the speech habits of the landlady grandmother he lives with.

Earthlings seem to naturally absorb the speech of those around them.

Kyryu, too, is quietly taking on Earth's colours.

  31. Reporting in, K.

Today the subjects ate instant ramyeon by the Han River.

They showed great interest in how hot food is completed outdoors, and looked satisfied afterwards.

They then entered a state of sudden drowsiness, presumably from rising blood sugar.

Han River ramyeon is a powerful supply that induces flavour and sleep at the same time.

  32. Reporting in, K.

A subject duelled a small creature called a puppy over a banana.

Both took up postures as if guarding a vital resource; tension was very high.

In the end, however, the resource was seized by a bird.

A peculiarity of Earth duels was discovered: the possibility of third-party intervention must be considered.

  33. Reporting in, K.

This morning the subjects boarded the underground transit device.

Countless Earthlings travelled compressed into a tiny space; the subjects, wedged in between, could not secure an escape route.

Earthlings are confirmed to repeat this every day.

The morning hell-train is most likely a device for measuring Earthlings' mental strength.

  34. Reporting in, K.

The subjects watched Earthlings repeatedly drink a black liquid.

It is called an Americano; it tastes extremely bitter, yet Earthlings drink it voluntarily.

The subjects tried it too and immediately lost control of their faces.

Earthlings seem to call a bitterness close to pain 'waking up'.

  35. Reporting in, K.

Observed the Earthlings' collective stopping zone known as a crosswalk.

There is a rule: stop on red, move on green.

Luan in particular looked the most nervous there, but after repeated observation he picked up the rule.

Luan is now reclassified as an individual capable of using crosswalks.
